Glenlivet Public Hall

- Fund raising -

Although a lot of the maintenance on the hall and grounds is done by volunteers (and a local plumber at a very favourable rate!), the cost of running the hall amounts to several thousand pounds every year.

To fund these expenses the hall is available for hire (see the "contacts, bookings" page) but also a significant amount is raised by fundraising events like the Hostess evenings, the Fairy Forest, Tea in the Park and various raffles.

It is important that these and other events organised to fund the hall are well supported, both by the volunteers organising them as well as by the members of the community attending (and paying for) them.

In addition funds for the hall can be raised by shopping online. Buy DIY products, clothing, toys, books, CD's and DVD's from well known stores; Amazon, John Lewis, Comet, M&S, Early Learning, SKY, Tesco and HMV are a few.
You can use a search facility to compare the prices of all the available retailers.

To date £270 has been raised so:

Clearing out the wardrobe? Getting rid of your old clothes? Take them to the recycling at the hall. Glenlivet Hall receives 25 pence for every kilo recycled material, currently totalling £120.
